NvACD Scholarship

NvACD awards an annual scholarship to students pursuing an education in agriculture, renewable natural resources, or a related field. The NvACD Scholarship Fund is supported through donations, fundraisers, and an annual scholarship auction. We feel this is a worthwhile endeavor by encouraging students to graduate within the fields that benefit conservation districts’ efforts.

Scholarship Privacy Statement: Personal information collected from scholarship applicants is voluntary. Collected personal information is not used outside of the scholarship process and is not shared with other parties. Applicants will be notified of successful/unsuccessful applications via email or phone (contact information collected through the application process). Any published information, such as name and scholarship amount, is only shared publicly with permission from the recipient.

The NvACD Scholarship application is typically available in February, with scholarships awarded in May. The link to the application will be available on this website when we begin accepting responses. The application is an online form. In order to complete the application process, two letters of recommendation and the student’s transcript must be sent to the email address provided in the application form at the time of submission. Scholarship funds are sent directly to the successful applicant’s college, university, or vocational school for disbursement.

Questions regarding the NvACD Scholarship may be directed to Adriane Tibbitts, NvACD Treasurer, at treasurer@nvacd.org.
